Raising the bar: Decathlon’s partnership with FIBA WASL adds sheen to competition

Global sports apparel provider Decathlon has partnered with eVulpa as the exclusive partner of the prestigious FIBA WASL (West Asia Super League) for the 2025-2026 season.

The partnership covers all games in the Sub-Zone leagues (FIBA WASL-Gulf League and FIBA WASL-West Asia League) and FIBA WASL Final 8 in the regional league owned and operated by FIBA’s Regional Office in Asia.

As part of an exclusive partnership, Decathlon is the official ball supplier and will supply all required balls to the 18 participating teams and its brand will feature on all arenas and marketing materials.

This new partnership adds another dimension to the game and promotes it within the important youth segment of basketball fans” said a representative of eVulpa, the exclusive rights holder of FIBA WASL.

About FIBA WASL

FIBA WASL (West Asia Super League), is a regional basketball league organized by FIBA Asia since 2022 featuring the best clubs from West Asia and the Gulf regions, as well as Central and South Asia. FIBA WASL is played at multiple levels – first at FIBA Asia Sub-Zone levels and then at FIBA WASL Final 8.

FIBA WASL-West Asia League features the champion club of Kazakhstan along with teams from West Asia Sub-Zone and FIBA WASL-Gulf League comprises teams from Gulf Sub-Zone to qualify seven teams to FIBA WASL Final 8.

The top three teams each from Gulf and West Asia Leagues along with the winners of the play-off between the two fourth placed teams from each League will be joined by the champion team of South Asia Sub-Zone in the FIBA WASL Final 8, from where the top two teams qualify to the BCL Asia.
